Recruitment 2023:

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) Fourth Paradigm Institute (CSIR-4PI), originally CMMACS, is one of its divisions. The centre is engaged in the development of modelling strategies for shedding light on the composition and development of complex systems.

The Council of Scientific and Industrial study became aware of the growing significance of mathematical modelling and computer-based simulations in the late 1980s. These techniques were being employed in a wide range of scientific study and were essential for understanding complex systems.

Such technologies were now required in a number of sectors that were previously considered to be exclusively observational and qualitative.

It was founded in 1988 on the National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL) Belur Campus in Bengaluru. Dr. Sridevi Jade is the Institute’s current leader.

To fill the positions for CSIR 4PI Recruitment 2023, the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-Fourth Paradigm Institute (CSIR 4PI) seeks 14 roles for Project Associate/Senior Project Associate on a contract basis.

Eligibility Requirements:

Educational Background:

Project Associate: Candidates must hold a B.E./B.Tech. in computer science or an equivalent degree from a reputable university with a minimum grade point average of 60%.

Knowledge of Python programming, installation and use of JOT devices, Artificial Intelligence (AT), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), and simulation framework is preferred. OR
The ability to configure Dockers-based GPU computing, install and operate computational models, and programme GPUs is desirable.
Candidates for the position of senior project associate must have a BE/B.Tech in computer science or an equivalent degree from a reputable institution.
a minimum of four years’ experience managing a large-scale Linux cluster in academic and industrial settings, or in a science and technology organisation. OR
PhD in science, engineering, or technology from an accredited university, or an equivalent degree. a minimum of four years’ experience managing a large-scale Linux cluster in academic and industrial settings, or in a science and technology organisation. Or a doctorate in science, engineering, or technology from an accredited university, or something comparable.

Selection Method:

Candidates will be chosen for the CSIR 4PI Recruitment 2023 based on:

A personal interview will follow the evaluation of the applications to determine the winner.
A screening committee will shortlist candidates based on their applications.
Candidates who have been shortlisted will be contacted for a personal interview.

Pay Range: Those chosen for the CSIR 4PI Recruitment 2023 would receive a salary of between Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 42,000 PM plus HRA.

Candidates must be at least 35 years old for Project Associate positions and 40 years old for Senior Project Associate positions.
